Yes, indeed. When my husband (then, soon to be boyfriend) looked at me like that, I thought my stomach was going to explode (in a good way), and I’ve always loved the color of his eyes. 😊
Sometimes there’s not much left to the, imagination, but that’s sort of the beauty of poetry isn’t it? The writer can choose what to reveal or not, in this case. 😊
