Using red carpet as opposed to door mat, tells it like it really is, being walked over is has a large impact (carpet), not a small impact (door mat). Cheers, Majella ๐
As I am sometimes treated like a doormat, I aspire to red carpet! Maybe someday, even shag. (I swear, I did not think of the double meaning on that one until after I typed it! I was totally referring to shag carpeting! hahaha)
Oh ! This is heartbreaking
and yet beautiful! ๐

1. Red carpets must only be walked on by lauded feet, 2. You don’t need to be a red carpet if you can be a flying one. ๐

I often see myself as a Boston Fern–on the shelf and looking pretty good, but not paid much attention to.

Sorry, for laughing. I found it clever and amusing. But the message is very serious. No one should be taken for granted or treated like a carpet.

Lovely terse sentiment. Rug would work too, because it would make it more intimate and universal, which is always good to connect people to the work.

Well the offer is always there. And yes usually people with the kindest hearts get used by “dirt bags” (that’s a unisex term btw) Take care Sarah.
