The wood fire was my solace. It was darkness and flickering orange flames, the crackling wood as the moisture popped and fizzled — but it was the smell. I remember the smell of home.

😆😆 Technically, my husband is a closet Pyro. He likes to bundle a bunch of sparklers. Huge. Fireball. Lol but that’s not the same as a wood fire. 💕
