Wondering now certainly is not going to change anything so no point in driving yourself nuts. I do know this though, that we can always influece whatever situation is in front of us by our actions. Just have to act and make a choice. A lot of times making any kind of choice is much better than not making a choice at all.
It does appear that life, at our level of conscious evolution, is fuelled by the making of choices. The problem we run into, not being evolved enough or mature enough mentally to fully comprehend consequences is that for the time being too many of our choices are based on old and invalid concepts. The next level is to be able to make choices based on entirely new concepts. That’s our way out. But regardless, you are correct: better to make a choice than no choice. No choice is slavery to repetition, and that, as Einstein put it, is the definition of insanity.
Thank you. My mind feeds on intelligent input by other thinking people on these blogs. I’m always amazed how thoughts flow into each other, seeking to mate, to dovetail to create a new piece… hmmm, new concepts perhaps. That’s what I do, swim through reams of information or its like walking a seashore after a storm, collecting bits of this and that, strands of fabric to create a rope, or a new garment. I know, for example, that long ago we were much more than we are now, that we were telepaths, able to communicate with one another without words – and equally able to remember everything, hence why there is no written history of the really “old” times. Now we can use this interim internet method to touch each other’s minds and form new ideas, empower ourselves, teach ourselves, re-grow our minds until the day we are once again telepaths and empaths. Keep ’em coming, Sarah.
Holy, did you see that piece she wrote? It was very nice, but right now for me is a bit over the top. I just need to get my three coffees intake and then re read it.
And the person who left the comment, I really appreciate it by the way. After my three coffees…..
I also wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for the 3 Day Quote Challenge! see the post on my page for details 🙂
(Sorry,I didn’t realize you were already nominated)

Yeah I did. She’s quite the philosopher. I need a couple coffees to fully absorb it too.

What was that Roger Whittaker song again… “No, I don’t believe in if anymore, If’s an illusion…”
