Here’s Day 13: How has your writing improved?
Hopefully it has.
Sometimes I like to look back at my very first (handwritten) draft of Just Breathe. There are times when I scratch my head and wonder what I was thinking. Other times, I see places where I have evolved and grown. I only hope it’s been for the better.
Here’s one example: In those early days, I didn’t have a great way to describe a couple holding hands a certain way. The kind where it’s not just palm clasping, but more like making a fist with two hands. It took me a bit of toying with the wording before I realized that it reminded me of shoe laces.
And bam! Interlaced fingers.
On Twitter, I’m taking part in another month of fiction prompts. I’m sharing them here as well.
