I told myself that I didn’t care. I didn’t care that you used me, knowing full well that you tried to hurt me. Or tried to taint my name. Paint me as someone else. But I do care. I cared about you. I hoped you weren’t going to turn your back and show your true colors, because I refused to think that you would want to hurt me like that. But I was wrong. And you know something? I forgive you. I still care about you, but I will never take you for what I hoped you were again. I will never trust you again.
