“I didn’t fall for you, I moved into your arms
like I was home. Because I was.”

When I found love, it wasn’t something I expected. A series of chances. A stroke of luck. And maybe even a bit of magic. There were only a few certainties I had in my life at the time. Pain. But like the clouds dissipating at the end of a humid, summer storm, you were there. I didn’t need to fall for you, because I was already on stable ground. Without realizing it, I stepped off the ledge of misery and moved into your arms like I was home. Because I was.
