“All I can see is that smile on your face.
The one that causes my heart to skip a beat.”
When I close my eyes, all I can see is that smile on your face. The one that melted the bones in my legs and turned the blood in my veins to liquid fire. The one that was unguarded and free. The one that caused faint lines to crinkle around your eyes when they looked into mine. And after a few hours, it’s like a distant memory, and I’m missing it more than I thought I would. I begin to wonder if it would cause my heart to skip a beat when the time came that I would see it again. But somewhere, deep down, I know I will. Because that smile always finds a way to creep its way to the surface. And when it does, I’ll try to commit each feature to my memory. This is just one of the little things you do to me. So please, don’t stop.
