Lost And Mourning

“I gave myself permission to stop.
I gave myself permission to cry.”

Today, I gave myself permission to stop. I gave myself permission to cry. Because all those people I’ve lost deserve to be mourned.

Not for their benefit, but for mine.

Because they never deserved
a piece of my heart and soul,
but they took, nonetheless.

  1. Forgiveness has bnothing to do with anyone else. And it’s probably the most difficult process we can face. I look at dogs. It doesn’ t who or how bad they are always willing to love in return. Like it’s a natural state. Maybe sometimes we overthink it…
