I Can’t Live Without You

Poetry

“But darling, I’ll always wait for you.
Because you’re worth it.”

But darling, no matter what happens, I’ll always wait for you. Because you are worth it. I can’t live without you here in my arms. I can’t live without you to come home to. I can’t live without you to laugh with on lazy Sunday mornings with coffee and paperback novels. So whenever you’re hurting, or you feel lost, I’ll be here, waiting to do whatever I need to make you whole again.

  1. “I can’t live without you to laugh with on lazy Sunday mornings with coffee and paperback novels.” I love how this line shows that the narrator wants more than just steamy romantic moments. They want the quiet moments too. Just lovely! 🙂

  2. I can see you becoming a top seller in romantic fiction. I know you write a great deal over and above that which appears on your site and, if you have not given much attention to romantic fiction, I really encourage you to do so, especially after having just read this piece. All strength to you with your writing.
