You are so much more than a dream.
And the thought of you keeps me warm.

Reality is an abstract concept.
An imagination can feel just as potent.
So explore the worlds books can offer.
Better yet, create some of your own.
Get lost in art and poetry,
and appreciate every stroke, every line.
Believe in the impossible. Believe in your dreams.
Because to me, you are so much more than a dream.
And the thought of you keeps me warm.

Whatever feels real to you, use it. We can all use an escape every now and again.

  1. This is so beautiful and yet I would take the impolite audacity to remark how art and writing isnt quite an ‘escape’.. It’s more the real thing that is. Birds sing naturally, flowers bloom and the stars twinkle.. Clouds hop by like bunnines. All natural song and dance..’life’as we know it is more unnatural and unreal than one would think. 😉 thanks for sharing such wonderful writing!
