“You haunt me, you see. And I don’t know
if I ever want to live without your ghost.”
I’m tethered to you. No matter where I am or what I’m doing, I can always feel you nearby. Maybe that’s why my mind always drifts to you. You haunt me, you see. And I don’t know if I ever want to live without your ghost.

This was written in response to the #NovemberNotes challenge. Today’s inspiration was Tethered by Sleeping At Last.
Reminds me of a Wuthering Heights situation of Heathcliff and Cathy. Haunting!!

Very helplessly my thoughts harbour you. I don’t know why my mind still longs a hope of you when everything is on the verge of ending. Perhaps I still love you.

Oh yes, I just felt the title and the feel of the don’t have me direction. 😊

Very nice poem! Good on you for referencing Sleeping at Last, too. I saw them live years ago back when they were a trio.
