The moment I realized I’d never see you again
was the moment my world ended.
It’s funny how moments like these can sneak up on us when we least suspect them. One second, all is well. And the next, nothing looks the same. Time stands still and all we can hear is the sound of our broken hearts beating.

So sad. I f only we knew when those moments were coming.

I agree. It would be nice to have some warning.

I felt like that after my first wife died. This song helped:
Hugs and a soft kiss on your cheek β€

I didn’t see a song, but I didn’t know about your first wife. I’m sorry you lost her.

Hmmmm… It was a you tube video by David Lanz called And Time Stood Still. She died from IPF, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. But God sent me another angel. π

I was actually a huge mess last night because I was thinking about what I would do if something ever happened to my girlfriend of 8 years. I think I would simply give up on life, she is my everything. My world ending perfectly describes how I would feel.

It’s cruel isn’t it. I can relate. Totally. And at that time even the heart wish to stop beating, then still it can not. This one goes to the heart β€οΈ

It’s like having everything you are cubed then all of the pieces that were where they fit are removed. Then you are put back together with these pieces missing and bleeding.
