Currents

“These moments
remind me
of you and
every moment
our lips touched.”

I feel the cold raindrops on my warm skin, lightning flashing in the sky and thunder crackling in the wind, sending a current through my senses. These moments remind me of you and every moment our lips touched.

  1. These moments come each day
And touches the skin as if the breeze of love
    Lips get pale
    Body trembles
How can they say it is memory
When my whole being feels these moments.

  2. Such a delightful piece to read this morning, Sarah! I loved this: “cold raindrops on my warm skin.” I felt a little rush of excitement across my skin when I read that. From that point through the end, this piece really awakened my senses.
