Dreaming

They tell me
to chase my dreams,
but my dreams
are always
nightmares.

But that isn’t true,
is it? I dreamed
of love.
Dreams of happiness,
growing old,
doing the things I love.
I dreamed of living.

    1. Some nightmares aren’t too bad. I remember one recently where I was in some kind of compound. It was disturbing, but not quite what my normal nightmares are — the kind that wake me up in a panic, feeling the pain that was inflicted in the dream.

  1. You capture human emotion in an effortless way, often in very little words and this always amazes me. And for that reason I’ve nominated you for the Mystery Blogger Award. I am not asking that you get involved, unless you want to, but at least this way I can share your blog.
