For the record, I love it when you use the word “Darling” in your poems. It’s one of those words that can either be an insult or an endearment depending on the context and the speaker. 🙂
Yeah, I typically mean it as an endearment, like I’m trying to bestow some wise words on a young, impressionable person or something. It’s not meant to be patronizing, but I can understand how it could be. 💕

It is a little sad, but I don’t think someone is permanently broken. And they may not appear to be fractured at all in certain lights.
