Hidden Truths

Maybe it wasn’t
the obvious future
you dreamt about,
but I’m betting,
it was still
hovering there,
in that horizon.

  1. It’s amazing, Sarah, when you least expect it, there is something that was sitting peripherally that comes into play. For instance, writing. I’ve always read prolifically, enjoyed writing a smattering of poetry in school and now I’m writing, something that hovered on the horizon, but now a reality. Your words ring true on many levels, thank you.

    1. We always have these dreams of how we want our lives to go, but in the end, they rarely end up they way we want. However, that doesn’t mean that our dreams aren’t coming true. They just might be coming about differently. 😊
