Excellent advice! I tell people this all the time. It’s okay not to be perfect. In fact, I like people more when they show me their frailties or “flaws”. Way back when in school I avoided those perfect little people, lol…
I’m glad that you agree. It seems as though you’ve had first-hand experience with this. It’s always nice to hear other people’s perspectives, but at the same time, it makes me feel a little more confident knowing that there are others that see beyond the exterior. 🙂
So true. I am guilty of sometimes saying ‘that’s perfect’ but you’re right, it’s a facade and so it should be. For example when you love a person you don’t love their perfection it is often the imperfection that really you find so endearing isn’t it?
I’m honored by the nomination. Unfortunately I’m no longer accepting the awards. But I will add your name as a nominee. Thank you for thinking of me! 😊
Exactly. Unfortunately people strive for perfection in ways that pushes then in the opposite direction. I recently read a story about a handsome guy that was unhappy with his looks to the point that he underwent numerous surgeries to change his appearance. He looks completely different and, to be honest, nothing looks appealing about him any longer.

Oh yes. Me too. Those perfect people were always miserable on the inside and they were bullies.

Perfection, is what we find in someone’s true form, who they truly are. Wonderfully done.

Just so you know, I love this -> “…and be the epic soul you are.” Well said. 🙂

Yes! I think everyone has the capacity to be epic. It’s just too many people are either too lazy to do it, or they try to be someone else. 😊

Perfection lies in magazine ads and waits to be bought on the drug store shelf.

Yes it does. And, to be honest, it’s not very appealing to me. Give me something unique and quirky any day. 😊😊

Yes, exactly. There’s beauty in being unique and owning that as a part of who you are. 😊💕

Beautifully said. It is important that we remain ourselves. Our unique characteristics define us for who we are.

Perfections takes many forms, one of them dbeing unique and awkward

Yes. Perfection is more of an abstract than a set guideline. Not many people understand that they can be perfect just the way they are. 😊

That’s sad 😦 Sometimes we can’t see ourselves the way others do.
