on the horizon,
torturing me
with those eyes,
I see you for
what you are.

  1. Sarah, reading Mirage gave me a sense of something from the distant past, a censorial figure crushing my tentative grasp on life. But because I knew the identity of this monster, I was able to endure. I liked it very much.
