Darkness And Light

Underneath all the darkness,
I couldn’t drag you down with me.
So I left, burying myself deeper.
At the first glimmers of light,
I saw you like it was the first time.
And I was the lucky one
when you took me back.

  1. Hi I’m new to the blogging life and was wondering if you could read my work and follow me I’d appreciate it as i am interested in literature and spoken word and lack a bit of confidence Thank you for your time and have a nice day

  2. This is so raw and emotional. It is dark yet I am able to identify with it. When it gets dark it tends to get very dark on the inside and then we push away those we love until the light draws us back aka love. Loved it
