Ever After

After everything we’ve endured,
I know we’ll find ourselves
at the other side of paradise
and finally find our
happily ever after.

  1. i love this for its reference to a love enduring beyond the ‘edge of doom,’ a belief in the after life but not of the christian kind. but also the strength of enduring their present situation – with aftershocks ensuing what they’ve been through. in a sense, life will be better the third time around. well, hope springs eternal. nice post, Sarah.

  2. Oh, geez, glad you said, “other side” of paradise. I know too many people who are going to paradise and that’s the last place I’d want to find myself in. Yeah, the other side should be safe enough, even for some ever after.

  3. Aww, I love this one. Especially since it feels like it could be the theme song for my Ambrose and Elsie story. As for which couple it applies to (Ambrose & Elsie, Ambrose & Barbara, Hildreth & Elsie), I’m not sure. It could probably go with any of the above. 😀

And, for the record, I really love this line: “I know we’ll find ourselves at the other side of paradise.” So lovely. 🙂
