War Of Wits

They were a war of wits
and stubborn resolve,
resisting the temptation
for as long as possible.
But eventually, they
raised the white flags,
kissed like they needed it
more than air, and
the rest was history.

      1. Lol sorry, I would have linked to it but I’m lazy and my tablet makes it ridiculously hard. It wasn’t that pressing- so don’t feel rushed!

    1. I apologize. I have been doing this for a very long time. I don’t do just one poem every day. I have days where I’ll write six poems, and I’ll go a few days without. I just space them out. It’s taken an awful lot of practice, failures, and evolving to reach this point. 😊 Thank you for the kind words! 😊
