Left to find someone more courageous I guess. Often in life, we leave the people we deem to be lacking a certain quality. And in leaving that person for the said quality, we often juxtapose how we ourselves didn’t use our knowledge and experience of the quality to help the other person.

when you ‘need’ someone you should have the patience to see through their defensses. he didnt care enough to wait. they say, “look for potential and have the patience to wait for it.” nice piece.

Exactly. Though this hasn’t actually happened to me, I fear that it will. My husband knows how much I need him, despite being too afraid to tell him. 💖
