each moment and savoring
it was foreign to you.
And before you knew it,
we were already over.

  1. Poignant. It took me a long time to learn how to savor the moment. I almost feel sorry for the person the narrator is speaking to–the one who hasn’t learned yet. The one who threw away a good thing because of that.
