Tides

The ink ebbs like a tide dictated by the moon, flowing through my veins, begging to be purged. As the levee breaks, spilling my blood upon a blank page, the tension that gathered in my body and mind releases. At long last, I feel a bit of peace. And it is the most satisfying feeling in the world.

  3. This was beautiful. Really spoke to how I used to feel when I kept a journal to keep my emotions in check. It was like a release valve for me. Also speaks to how I feel now, when I haven’t had chance to be creative and am just dying for that creative release!
