Tides

The ink ebbs like a tide dictated by the moon, flowing through my veins, begging to be purged. As the levee breaks, spilling my blood upon a blank page, the tension that gathered in my body and mind releases. At long last, I feel a bit of peace. And it is the most satisfying feeling in the world.

  1. This was beautiful. Really spoke to how I used to feel when I kept a journal to keep my emotions in check. It was like a release valve for me. Also speaks to how I feel now, when I haven’t had chance to be creative and am just dying for that creative release!

  2. “An incredible piece on when suddenly there are words.” she commented. “I really should come by more often. And, I’m enjoying reading different interpretations of the great Filipino word challenge.”
