The Collector

I traded my soul for the chance
at happiness — to have my beloved with me
forever in immortality. It was like trading
water for chocolate. Divine, rich,
and everlasting. It was the best decision
I ever made … until death came
to collect on my promise.

  1. Remind me to never make a deal with the devil. 😛 Joking aside, in love with this piece. It reminds me how nothing lasts forever no matter how sweet it might be.
