Dancing Horizons

The twisted visages and shattered
mirages of my essence flickers in and out
of existence, dancing along
horizons of a thousand setting suns.
As luminescence fades away,
nothing will remain of me, and I wonder
if anything will be left behind
with my memory.

  1. A sense of foreshortened future is one of the resistant features of PTSD. After all we are mortal. So it is actually a logic but held with such tenacity and fought so repeatedly , that it feels like compulsion. And when you do it so brilliantly , it masquerades as art ! Art is truth in a beautiful dress…..I like the cover !

      1. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed recently, but wp hasn’t exactly been showing everything in the reader. I try to read them all, but if I don’t see them, I don’t know if they’re there.
