Tongue Tied

Poetry

Your tongue
will always be
my undoing.

The way you speak, stringing words together like silk, it draws me in. I’m captivated, like a moth to flame. I can’t help but watch, listen, breathe. No matter what you say, I feel them, those words. And they’re the most beautiful sounds I’ve ever heard. Anything else, is like icing on the cake.
