“As if millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced”…your random Star Wars quote, for some reason this popped in my head when I read your poem. Also, and more importantly, this should be on stationary or a hallmark card or something.
Hahaha, thanks for that. Actually I thought about those random quotes out there, like ‘when X happens, a kitten dies’. I really appreciate the compliment about stationery! 😊
