Broken Down

I might have
a big heart,
but I’m a flawed,
broken down soul
just trying to survive.

      1. Awww Sarah. I missed you too. Yeah definitely feel this one. Especially as of late. I’m getting all my ducks in a row for a huge transition in my life. If you’d like email me at faid81@outlook.com I’d love to tell you all about it.

  1. Out of sheer curiosity, what is a soul? Perhaps I should ask, what does the concept of “having” or “being” a soul mean; how is it different than to say, I’m feeling physically or mentally shitty while struggling to survive? Or… if “I” had a soul (I don’t have one, but just for the argument), what part of “me” would that be, and how would I know when I’m reacting in “soul” mode as opposed to physical mode, or mental mode? Isn’t a belief in soul a Israelite/Christian biblical concept? Apart from those annoying questions – which no one need answer ๐Ÿ™‚ I enjoyed that sharp little read.
