Hi, Thank you for the like on my review about ‘Rosie the African Elephant’ last week. I like this short poem, actually very powerful. I love the fact that writing has become a therapy for you. I understand the need to find something as a therapy, suffering from depression and anxiety myself. Keep it up :)!
I sometimes have experienced these feelings. Strong feelings that I feel I have to shove deep down inside. People would not understand nor would they want to know the strong emotions I have. I think people are too busy or anxious to be able to awknowledge my strong emotions. Then I channel these into my writing whatever form it is, my blogs, my book, Twitter. You`ve done a very good job in this post in telling people they`re not alone. Well done!!
Hey! I looked everywhere for a way to contact you privately but found nothing so I’ll say it here- I’m only halfway through your book Just Breathe and I’m obsessed. I was going to wait until I finished all three to say anything but I can’t because I’m that into it and you deserve to know 🙂
I’ve been told by several people that there comes a time when the books become very difficult to put down. I’m not sure how far into the story you are, but you’ll notice when it picks up.
Sounds like when I had depression and no one knew because I kept smiling like a Stepford robot. And no one could see the scream in my eyes because eye contact was something I could not manage.
Thank you for the like on my page especially because it brought me here! I look forward to reading more of your writing. I’m sorry to hear of your pain and I’m thankful for you that you have writing. Keep going! It’s a process. I wish good and beautiful things for you.
I know that feeling only too well.

It’s a good reminder to look into the eyes of the person whom we’re speaking to; especially so if they are our loved ones.

Thank you! I really appreciate that! I can’t wait to hear what you think when you finish!
I forgot to add a contact form. I’ll fix that tonight. If do want to email me, you can through Sarah@sarahdoughty.com.

I just read the part where she’s asking him about the aura colors and tests her theory about red 😉

Ha! Yep. That’d be about there. Have fun. 😄😄

When I can’t get people to listen,
I go out in the back field
and scream baneful songs
at the sky gods,
who sometimes
clock me in the face
with telekinetic
rays
Oh well, nobody really listens.
Bless you dear.
