  1. Great poem! I get a unstoppable feeling of “ow” after reading it. It’s simple, and I pick up on the meaning behind the piece while the message is open to interpretation. Marvelous!

  2. Very common realization, sadly. You have a lovely blog, and I appreciate the issues you mentioned that you struggle with–I’ve had headaches all my life, daily, too; and I have anxiety and PTSD to some degree–though I’m doing pretty well right now (getting older helps, so you have something to look forward to!). Thank you for visiting my current blog–I’m guessing maybe you’re a rodeo fan, a little bit?? Anyway, I will add you to my prayer list of blog folks–and I wish you the full blessings of this Christmas season, Rejoice! sincerely, Jael

      1. Chocolate is always welcome too. Life is hard, sometimes more so, depending on the situation. It’s good to know others are out there, maybe not with the same demons, but demons nonetheless. We support each other.

      2. Yeah… It’s hard finding a balance between being consumed by a problem and ignoring it – it’s nice to zoom out, look at the problem, and get perspective I guess.
I’d say “it’s funny how a little difference makes everything seem strange” but if I’m more stultifyingly pretentious I might faint.

Basically, I agree. A little support goes a long way. It can’t eliminate the problem, but it can help.

      3. It’s good to know that there are others out there that share similar viewpoints. For me, it’s good to know there’s someone out there (or multiple someones) that I can reach out and say, “I’m drowning,” and they’re there offering a good word, or if they know me well enough, they’re gutsy enough to tell me to calm down (though with more profanities). I’m pleased to meet you.
