Creeping Baseline

I’m that creeping baseline,
that tremor in your bones.
I’m the one that will devour
every inch of your skin.
And you’ll feel every
second of my crescendo.
You’ll be nothing but a mindless,
chaotic mess of ecstasy,
and then I’ll let you come
undone with that last finale
that you’ll never forget.
