Flash and Micro Fiction


Swimming pools had nothing on the ocean, she thought as she waded further out into the vast expanse of of the undulating turquoise waters. And she was right, as the shark encircled her, taking his time. Dangers always lurked beneath and it wasn’t until his teeth clamped down, pulling her under, that she realized the ocean could take whatever it wanted from her, including her life.
